Name a global topic you would want to build an issue around, and one thing that makes it hard to teach. A few sentences. We are not looking for a polished pitch. We are looking for how you think about a hard topic and a real classroom at the same time. This is the part of the application we read most closely.

I have read what this involves. I can commit to developing a complete issue from scratch, to meeting reasonable deadlines, and to being edited.

What happens next

If it looks like a fit, we will set up a short conversation about the work and about whether the commitment is realistic for you right now. If we go ahead from there, your first issue comes with support: a template, a house style guide, an editor, and someone who has done it before to help guide your work.

If we do not have a place for you right now, we will say so. If it is a matter of timing rather than fit, we will say that too, and ask if we can come back to you.
